Here it is ..... our first attempt at a student urban dance night . At the newly refurbished , dark loud surroundings of THE BASEMENT (ex blaisers to all u dirty old moshers !!!)

The idea is to have residents from various underground dance nights around the north in one venue covering the best in urban dance music. every thursday ...

There are a few naughty ideas we have got lined up if the night takes off after a few weeks of events.... but we aint going to give anything away just yet :D

so the opening party is THURSDAY 25TH MARCH @ the basement ... Middlebrough

On sunday 7th march is (hopefully) the first of many nights at the Medicine bar (ex purple onion) . and our first guest for 4TH BASS is circus records DOCTOR P .... the dub dj responsible for many tunes last year including his new release SWEETSHOP / GARGOYLE ep
which has been getting play from everyone .... skream , toddla t , annie mac kissy sell out ... these are just some of the dj's give these tunes radio play . I haven't seen a dubstep dj in the past 2 months that hasn't been dropping these two tunes to be fair ....

Anyway myself and HAXX will be warming up with our normal dub , garage bassline style set before doctor p and Bushido resident TurboJones will be finishing off the night with the best in modern and old school drum n bass ..... all on a sunday night .

that's right ... SUNDAY .

so it looks like it might be one of those weekends if you know what i mean ....

Amplive is a new name to me but ive instantly grown fond of his style, especialy the electro-acoustic hip hop vibe from his recent Radiohead remixes. In my opinion, two of the best tracks on his new release are featuring some of my favorite names in hip hop such as Chali 2na & Deltron! Sweet deal i hear you say? Definately is as Radiohead made him release the whole thing for free due to his lack of permision to play with the tracks.
